Lux uses website technologies to operate features, remember limited interface or application information, understand website traffic and performance, improve user experience, and help protect services from misuse. The technology used can vary by page: for example, payment and interactive application pages may load services not needed by an ordinary information page.

Strictly necessary and functional

Technology needed for a requested feature, security, account or session behaviour, or a saved interface choice may be necessary for that feature to operate. Disabling it can prevent the relevant feature from working correctly.

Preferences

Some Lux features use browser storage to remember choices or locally saved application information on a device.

Analytics

Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics are currently integrated across the website to measure visits, interactions and website performance. They may receive technical information such as page, browser, device and approximate location derived from network information.

Marketing

The current website source does not include a dedicated advertising pixel or remarketing integration. Lux will update this policy if that changes.

First-party technology is set or operated for the Lux website. Third-party technology is provided by another organisation through the site. The confirmed site-wide analytics providers are Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics. Paystack is loaded on applicable payment flows to support transactions. Those providers control their own services and may process information under their respective privacy and technology notices.

The source confirms the technologies and purposes below. Exact cookie names and retention can change under provider configuration, so Lux does not publish unverified names or durations here.

You can delete or block cookies and clear site data through browser settings. Browsers may also offer controls for third-party cookies or tracking protection. Blocking technology required by an interactive, payment or account feature can affect that feature. Provider-specific opt-out tools may also be available from Google or other providers.

The website may provide consent controls where implemented. Browser controls remain available. A consent choice should be remembered appropriately, and changing or withdrawing a choice should be as straightforward as making it.

Lux interactive chat and AI features use local storage to keep identifiers, chat history and related state on the user's device. Analytics and payment services may use browser or network technologies in addition to cookies. This section does not imply that every type of pixel, SDK or storage technology is used on every page.

Payment flows using Paystack and links to external platforms operate under those providers' own terms and privacy practices. The source does not currently show an embedded YouTube player, reCAPTCHA, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, PostHog or Microsoft Clarity integration. A normal link to a third-party site does not itself mean that provider sets a cookie on the Lux page.

Lux may update this policy when website features, providers, law or browser technologies change. The current last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
